    It's common knowledge to most that fast food restaurants make huge profits off the sale of unhealthy burgers, fries, and the like. But that obviously doesn't keep most of us from visiting these locations several times a month! Maybe after reading these top 5 mind-blowing facts you'll change your mind about how much you love greasy grub.

1. Wendy's
The skins of the baked potatoes sold at Wendy's locations around the world actually contain a deliriant which causes vertigo and hallucinations not unlike those caused by LSD (acid).

Darryl Heismann, 61, accidentally consumed a potato skin from a Wendy's location in Tulsa, OK, in the summer of 2011 and experienced "nausea" and an "out-of-body sort of malaise lasting around 36 hours". Maybe next time go for a salad, Mr. Heismann.


2. McDonald's 
McDonald's is known for quick and easy food and also child-friendly play places which include jungle gyms and ball pits. It's a little catch written into every contract ever signed by a McDonald's employee.

Despite not exactly knowing what this restaurant sells, we've heard rumours that Jennifer who works the till is a big-time tease.
